David Suchet, the British actor famous for his television appearances as Hercule Poirot, hero of the Agatha Christie novel Murder On The Orient Express, recently embarked on a 2,000 mile journey across Europe on the most famous train in the world -- the Orient Express.

Suchet traveled from London to Northern France, where he boarded the Venice Simplon Orient Express, which took him through six countries and through many scenic landscapes. During the trip, Suchet documented the history of this famous train from its beginnings to its final days, and explored the stories that made it famous.

He invites you to travel along on this insightful journey. His documentary was produced by PBS and shows online for free from July 8 to August 6, 2010.
