I was on a preview voyage of Norwegian Cruises' giant new cruise ship, the Epic, which begins sailing from Miami on July 10. The ship has made headlines not only for its size and glitz, but also because it introduces the Studio cabin, a stateroom class that liberates single travelers from the dreaded single supplement. Solo vacationers pay one price, with no extra charges for the right to have a cabin to themselves.
