Hilary Kramer: Three Stocks That Sizzle in the Summer

Updated

The old adage "sell in May and go away" may not hold true this summer. The saying suggests that investors sell their stocks in May and then buy them back in the fall since during the summer months, the market tends to underperform.

This isn't always the case. And this summer, with the economy struggling to emerge from a recession, things could be very different. After a recent stock sell-off, the market could come roaring back -- at least for a little while, if second quarter earnings are strong.
