Linda McMahon named in WWE lawsuit for using Owen Hart footage

In 1999 WWE wrestler Owen Hart died after he took a tragic fall while performing a stunt. Now, Martha Hart, the widow of Owen Hart is suing the WWE because the company breached a contract with Hart and continued to use his name, images, video, and even shots of his grave site. The lawsuit filed at the U.S. District Court in Hartford, Conn. presents the demands of Martha Hart for WWE to stop selling products of her deceased husband, and she even wants royalty fees from all sales featuring Owen Hart after his death.

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and former CEO turned U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon are mentioned in the lawsuit.
