Premier Inn, British hotel, bans vuvuzelas

Premier Inn, a British Hotel chain has banned the vuvuzela, those popular and sometimes annoying instruments that fill the stadium of the 2010 World Cup. The decision to ban the instruments came after the hotel manager was kept awake by England fans blowing the loud vuvuzelas at the Newcastle Central hotel, one of Premier Inn's properties.

The vuvuzela horns are now restricted in Premier Inn bars and if they are seen, guests will be asked to return them to their room. The ban will last until the end of the 2010 World Cup games.
