In Los Angeles? Clothing swap Saturday June 19

WalletPop and BargainBabe.com are joining forces to put on an incredible one-day swap of clothes, media, and housewares this Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 1-3 p.m. in Los Angeles.

Why should you come? DJ Cassette will be spinning tunes, we have raffle prizes like a waterproof iPod boombox, and each swapper gets a free reusable bag stuffed with beauty samples, coupons, and a $25 Restaurant.com gift card.

Plus, take home all the new fashions you can carry! Swaps are a great way to pass on clothes you no longer wear and try out new styles, new colors, new designer duds! We'll also be swapping media (DVDs, CDs, books) and housewares (picture frames, kitchen gear, tools). Take home whatever you can stuff in your free reusable bag.

Tickets to the Frugal Festival Summer Swap are $5 if you bring swappables and $10 without swappables. Drop off your stuff between 10 a.m. and noon, then grab a cup of coffee or hit the local thrift stores while we turn your swappables into a "swaptique." Doors open promptly at 1 p.m. and admission is free at 2 p.m. All raffle prizes will be raffled off at 2 p.m.
