Biz Brief: Microsoft Debuts Slim New Xbox at E3 Video Game Expo

It's only been available for a day, and Microsoft's (MSFT) new Xbox video game console is already out of stock on Amazon.com (AMZN).

Touted as sleek, silent and sexy, Microsoft unveiled its new, slimmer Xbox 250 Elite at the E3 video game expo Monday afternoon.

With a retail price of $299, the new game console comes equipped with a wireless controller, Xbox 360 headset, HDMI output, USB flash drive storage capabilities and more, and a one-year limited warranty.

Shares of Microsoft rose 1.75% in early trading Tuesday. Amazon, also rose slightly, up 0.22%
