Los Angeles Rental: Hollywood 1BR for $2,020

Sunset and Vine is one of Hollywood's legendary intersections. Nowadays the Hollywood hotspot is filled with hip restaurants and bars, arguably the cities best movie theaters, and an apartment complex that's popular for its amenities and common space for parties. This complex, at 1555 Vine St., has a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment available for $2,020. Not only is it a great apartment, but it's in the middle of one of Los Angeles' most happening neighborhoods.

Sure there are cheaper apartments, but there aren't others in the area that offer all the amenities and the prime location of this one.
Reminders of Old Hollywood abound around this modern Hollywood apartment building. Schwab's Pharmacy where Lana Turner was fabled to have been discovered is back in Hollywood as a restaurant and just one of the many restaurants below the apartments at Sunset and Vine.

While the median rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Hollywood is 22 percent lower than this one, most buildings don't offer amenities like balconies, 24-hour concierge, a designer pool with swim-up movie theater (they think of everything), controlled access, sun deck, dry sauna and more. This one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in Sunset and Vine comes with all that and more. The unit has air conditioning, quartz counter tops and an in-unit washer and dryer. Also included in the rent is wireless Internet. And while you might think such a luxe building would have strict rules about animals, dogs and cats up to 50 pounds are welcome.

Hollywood has been getting revamped over the past five years and this building is one of many new improvements. It also has easy access to the thriving nightlife on Hollywood Boulevard and nearby Cahuenga Boulevard, both are within walking distance. In addition to the great restaurants nearby, there's also the European-like Arclight movie theater with bar, assigned seating for better organization and Dome, which really has to be experienced.

Not only is there a lot to do in the surrounding area but this Hollywood apartment's close to Burbank and the Valley, and a straight shot in one direction to Downtown L.A., and to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills the other way. You also have the 101 freeway, so you can navigate L.A. with (traffic permitting) with relative ease. And the good thing about Hollywood is you not only have buses nearby to get around if need be, but you also have a metro station so you can get around this city without a car, which is always nice.

Hollywood is a great place to live, and now with the W Hotel, Sunset and Vine and other spots, it's glamorous living in Los Angeles. If you are going to do it, you might as well do it up, right?!
