Walmart stocks up for the World Cup

Updated

If you're planning to celebrate the 2010 FIFA World Cup in front of your television, you're going to need some food and decorations, and Walmart is feeling pretty confident that you'll get those things at one of their stores. The added incentive? WalMart has an exclusive agreement with FIFA to sell 2010 World Cup memorabilia, and because of this, the world's biggest retailer expects sales to increase by 4%, especially in countries that end up close to making the titles. And if England makes it to the finals, expect that estimate to increase, as WalMart has a big presence there in subsidiary ASDA.
