Biz Brief: Sally Singer Named Editor of New York Times Style Magazine

The New York Times (NYT) has named Sally Singer the new editor ofT, the paper's glossy style magazine. Singer joins the Times from Vogue, where she oversaw fashion news and features. She also has worked at New York Magazine, Elle, BritishVogue and the London Review of Books. She starts her new job July 5.

Bill Keller, the executive editor of the Times, praised Singer as, "someone with the imagination and taste to envision the next generation of this extraordinary franchise." T is published 15 times a year and has a web site that is updated daily. The Times calls it, 'one of the style world's most successful magazine launches."
