Celebrities are on the move in Los Angeles; listing homes, selling them and, in one case, buying from one another. HousingWatch takes a look at real estate
moves from stars of "Modern Family," "The Good Wife," and a musician who told us about Sergio. And of course, some more inevitable Sandra Bullock and Jesse James home news.
- Last month HousingWatch told you about Jesse James and Sandra Bullock's beachfront home being put up for sale. Now there's news that the Orange County house has been listed for $6.75 million (under James' name). That's $750,000 more than originally reported. And more details come via People, which reported that in addition to its spot on the coast in Sunset Beach, the two-story home also has a pool. The listing agent is Chuck Buscemi of First Team Real Estate.
- The late DJ AM's Beverly Hills home sold for $2.755 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. The house has four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and more than 3,000 square feet of space. We reported on another property of DJ AM's, his SoHo apartment, which sold earlier this year for $1.79 million.
- In yet another update comes news of Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell's Venice home. It sold for $1.425 million says the L.A. Times. The uber-modern-style house of the Jane's Addiction singer has a two-story barrel ceiling. If you want to see what that looks like, check out our post about the listing. It seems very Perry Farrell-ish to me.
- Also according to the Times, Ed O'Neill of "Modern Family" bought the 1927 Santa Monica home of "The Good Wife" star Julianna Margulies with a bid of $3,350,001. He bid one dollar over what he thought others were bidding and got the house.
