Best Eco-Cities in U.S.: Honolulu and Minneapolis

According to a recent survey by the international consulting firm Mercer, towns in Canada and Germany dominate a list of the world's top 50 eco-cities. But don't worry America, we made the list, too. Honolulu is listed in the impressive No. 2 spot and Minneapolis placed at No. 6.

Based on water availability, water potability, waste removal, sewage, air pollution and traffic congestion, the Canada's Calgary captured the No. 1 spot, with Ottawa; Helsinki, Finland and Wellington, New Zealand rounding out the top five.
