Zynga and Yahoo announce partnership deal

Looks like virtual farmers will soon be able to head to Yahoo to sow, plow and harvest. Zynga and Yahoo just signed a partnership deal that will place Zynga games, like FarmVille, Mafia Wars, et al, across Yahoo's network.

Per the press release , this partnership will allow players to do the following:

Recently, the company announced a 5-year deal with Facebook and another with Twitter, but Zynga has also been aggressively working to expand its reach beyond the confines of these social networks. There are also rumors that Zynga will soon be launching its own portal for its games called Zynga Live or Zlive, and we suspect FarmVille will be showing up on other web portals before the summer's end.
