Blur racing game for PS3, 360 features Facebook integration

Blur, Activision's frenetic arcade-style racing game for (which cruises into stores on May 25) promises to deliver a big dose of high-octane driving action, which includes power ups and defensive weapons. This game will also include Facebook Connect, which will allow players to challenge fellow drivers through the social network. To kick off the competition, click the 'Share' button in the game and, in addition to throwing down against friends, post in-game pics, racing stats, and unlockable items on your Facebook Wall.
Blur is not the first big-budget racing game to flirt with Facebook Connect. EA's Need for Speed World for PC integrates Facebook, which allows players to import FB friends into the games' friend list. We're also seeing big-name video games make a complete leap to Facebook -- the FIFA game series will debut on Facebook soon, in the form of FIFA Superstars
and popular PC game Civilization will be doing the same, by way of Civilization Network
