FarmVille Southwest Crops: Amaranth & Posole Corn

FarmVille added two new Southwestern themed seeds to the market on May 11th 2010. The limited edition Amaranth and Posole Corn seeds can be purchased in the FarmVille Market during the next 20 days only.

Neither of these crops will have Crop Mastery available.

Amaranth seeds can be purchased for 22 coins, take 16 hours to grow, and yield 170 coins and 1 XP with a profit of 148 coins.

* Only farmers with a minimum of Level 6 will have access to purchase Amaranth seeds.
* Amaranth is an herb known as the flower that never withers. Its name originates from the Greek word, " amarantos" meaning the "one that does not wither," or the never-fading (flower). (Source: Wikipedia). Too bad it will still wither in FarmVille.
