Baby clothes, gear, and furniture are 20-50% off at Babies R Us stores now through May 27. Some items are on sale online but the focus is in stores.

In stores ask for a 20% off shopping pass, or coupon, that you can use on items needed to fill a nursery, including furniture, bedding, décor, mattresses, gliders and ottomans. I wonder if this sale is in response to all the kids consignment sales that have been popping up across the country.

The baby sale also includes:

  • Up to 50% off Carter's clothing.

  • 40% off Koala Kids and Koala Baby clothing, except swimwear and denim.

  • 25% off swimwear, canvas, beach and aqua shoes.

  • Buy one get one 50% off Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature 2-pack and 3-pack bottles.

  • Buy one get one 50% off Munchkin toddler mealtime items.

  • Save $20 on JJ Cole diaper bags priced at $69.99 (so they are $50 each).

  • Save $5 on Playtex Diaper Genie II Elite System and Swimways Baby Spring Float with Canopy.


Caveats: toddler furniture is excluded from the 20% off sale. How do you differentiate baby and toddler furniture? I have no idea. The sale prices cannot be combined with any other discount. Sale dates vary by market and some sales may end sooner than May 27.
