The Sears family and friends sale begins Saturday, May 1, and runs through Monday, May 3 online.

The hours are a bit odd: the online sale starts 8 p.m. CST on Saturday and ends Monday at 4 a.m. CST. So basically the online sale is all day Sunday. The in-store sale is Sunday, May 2 from 6-9 p.m. The Sears Hometown Store sale is all day Monday, May 3.

The discounts are valid on regular-, sale- and clearance-priced merchandise. During the sale you can:

  • Get an extra 20% off clothing, fine jewelry, watches, and beauty.

  • Get an extra 15% off shoes, bed & bath, window coverings.

  • Get an extra 10% off appliances (Sunday only, see below), floor care, grills, outdoor furniture, fitness, sporting goods, tools, auto, electronics, small kitchen appliances, mattresses, luggage, furniture & decor, baby furniture, gear & bedding.

  • Get an extra 5% off lawn & garden and toys.

Caveats: there are many, many brand exclusions. Read the fine print here. Thse appliance sale is extremely limited, from 6 p.m. CST on Sun, May 2 to 4 a.m. CST on Mon, May 3.
