Home-Auction Steal in Park City: Cookie-Maven Mrs. Fields' Mansion

The former Park City home of Debi Fields -- the woman behind the Mrs. Fields cookie empire -- is on the auction block. Don't worry, the cookie magnate hasn't fallen on hard times. The home's current owner was foreclosed on, and online bidders are anxious to get a taste of the property.

The 25,000 square foot mansion is situated in the elite Wolf Creek Ranch, outside Utah's most upscale ski resort (home to the annual Sundance Film Festival and a litany of Hollywood A-listers). The home's 51-acre lot would ensure peace and quiet for even the biggest star.
Along with luxe touches like a wine cellar and four-car garage, the nine-bedroom, 12-bathroom house boasts such cozy features as six fireplaces and custom woodwork. Its two kitchens will help you accommodate any cookie cravings.

Bidding for the home, valued at $3.8 million, is currently at just $1.6 million -- though the online bidding concludes with a live auction in Park City on May 1.

Can't spare even just a couple of million right now for a piece of cookie history? With just a few dollars' worth of ingredients, you're only minutes away from a mouthful of the real thing.
