San Francisco Rental Deal in Noe Valley: Great 2BR House for $700!

Okay there has got to be a crazy catch but I don't see it anywhere in this apartment rental listing. I looked through it several times and it still says two bedroom house for rent in Noe Valley for $700. What's the trick? Noe Valley is a pleasant neighborhood right on the other side of the Mission, with all your shopping and dining needs right on 24th Street. Did they turn back time to 1988 rental prices. Maybe it's some eccentric millionaire who's renting out his extra two-bedroom house as a protest to high rental prices in San Francisco?

What do you get for the crazy low price of $700 a month in Noe Valley?
You get a beautiful two-bedroom, one-bathroom house with 2,000 square feet, high ceilings, hardwood floors, period details and a nice living room. The master bedroom has a sliding-glass door to the backyard where there's a common patio that's great for those sunny day barbecues.

The rental property is designated as a "
Tenancy in Common" and is situated in a tranquil two-unit building located behind a free-standing property. (Maybe that explains the cheap rent? Or maybe the other tenant is crazy?)

So how does $700 rate against other two-bedroom houses in Noe Valley? Oh just about a third of the going rate! Two-bedroom apartments in this area start around $2,500. If anyone investigates this property, please let us know what the catch is, because this sounds like the best bargain in all of San Francisco.
