'Jersey Shore' Spinoff Hopes to Get Wicked in Boston

Updated

It's quite possible the success of MTV reality show "Jersey Shore" means the world may have to endure 47 more spin-off shows highlighting the behavior of promiscuous narcissists in any of the remaining United States. Right now Massachusetts joins New Jersey and the previously reported Brighton Beach, New York in providing hoochies hell bent on humiliating their families. "Wicked Summer," set in Boston, trades in the "guidos" and "guidettes" of Seaside Heights for Beantown "Massholes."

While the Bahstan accents are different from the Joisey ones (inevitably there will be new colloquial terms a la "juiceheads" and "grenades" to learn and go viral) they do share a similar style sense: muscle-Ts and far too much gel.

"We're giving Massachusetts the chance to show the world why Bay Staters have got the hottest girls and proudly buff guys who believe in God, family, politics, sports, beer and partying!" casting director Doron Ofir told E! Online, the news outlet that broke the story.
