'Jersey Shore' Spinoff Hopes to Get Wicked in Boston

It's quite possible the success of MTV reality show "Jersey Shore" means the world may have to endure 47 more spin-off shows highlighting the behavior of promiscuous narcissists in any of the remaining United States. Right now Massachusetts joins New Jersey and the previously reported Brighton Beach, New York in providing hoochies hell bent on humiliating their families. "Wicked Summer," set in Boston, trades in the "guidos" and "guidettes" of Seaside Heights for Beantown "Massholes."

While the Bahstan accents are different from the Joisey ones (inevitably there will be new colloquial terms a la "juiceheads" and "grenades" to learn and go viral) they do share a similar style sense: muscle-Ts and far too much gel.

"We're giving Massachusetts the chance to show the world why Bay Staters have got the hottest girls and proudly buff guys who believe in God, family, politics, sports, beer and partying!" casting director Doron Ofir told E! Online, the news outlet that broke the story.

"Massholes" eager for their 15 minutes should note that Ofir is looking for "blue collar, hard working, harder partying, tough talking, damn-good-looking Mass natives from all over the state."

The casting call continues, "We are seeking quintessential and iconic Massachusetts types, from long-time dock workers to fisherman, beer guzzlers to chowder lovers, Fenway fanatics to the men and women in blue, cabbies to yachtsman, cheerleaders to Brookline babes. Represent your state with pride!" Ofir is also upping the potential shock value scouting for all types between 21 and 80 years of age.

We're imagining really, really drunk and angry Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins fans. Our advice: The Boston police force may want to start recruiting for a larger task force.

Filming is scheduled to begin in Boston mid July. We will accept cameos by (Marky) Mark and Donnie Wahlberg. All respect will be lost if Ben and Casey Affleck, or Matt Damon come within a wicked beer pint of this show.
