FarmVille peanuts made a debut in the in-game Market -- with no advertising sponsor in sight, even though Saatchi & Saatchi's blog says an Israeli company will be tied in with these new peanuts. We'll have to keep an eye out to see when (and if) that ad campaign rolls out.

Anyway, back to the peanuts. Peanuts cost 20 coins each, harvest in 16 hours and can be sold for 78 coins. This new crop can be mastered, and looks like it will be around for good. Here's how many peanut crops you'll need to plan to earn mastery:

Level 1 mastery : 275 peanuts
Level 2 mastery : 825 peanuts
Level 3 mastery : 1650 peanuts
