Check it: Mafia Wars Daily Checklist yields free skill point ... daily

A round of applause goes to Mafia Wars on Facebook, which just introduced a Daily Checklist, which surfaces some features that were semi-lost with the last redesign of the game, namely the Daily Lotto and the button that lets you send Energy boosts to your entire mafia. Seriously, where have those things been hiding?

If you're a list maker (like me), it's supremely satifying to finish a job and see it checked off on the list with a fat, green checkmark. As an added bonus, every time you complete the daily checklist, you'll earn a Skill Point, which can be used toward improving your character stats. Now that's something we can get behind.
