Springtime Promos for Hilton, Hyatt, and Best Western

With the economy slowly on the rebound and travelers beginning to plan their summer vacations, it's springtime for hotel deals from worldwide chains like Hilton and Best Western, which are looking to lure back loyal customers by offering free nights and free spending cash to keep their rewards members interested.

Hilton Worldwide is launching a "Fast Ways to Free Stays" promotion tomorrow where its HHonors members can earn a free night for every four stays (or double points) at any of the participating 3,500 hotels in 81 countries this spring. The promo runs from April 6 through June 30, 2010. There is no limit on the number of bonus points or free nights that can be awarded during the promotion. To be eligible, members must register beforehand through a special website.

Hyatt has a similar springtime deal for its Gold Passport members called "The Big Welcome Back", offering a free night (or 5,000 points) for every two stays. The promo runs from March 26 through June 30, 2010. Likewise, members can earn unlimited free nights, and there are no blackout dates for redeeming those free nights between April 1 and August 31, 2010.

Best Western has a more cash-in-hand promotion "Jump Start to Summer" for its loyal customers enrolled in the Best Western Rewards program. For every two stays between April 4 and May 30, 2010, guest will receive a $50 Best Western Travel Card, a cash credit that can be used at any of its hotels. Members will receive an additional 250 rewards points if the stay is booked online through bestwestern.com. In addition, Elite members that live in the US, Canada, or Caribbean will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes for 100,000 Best Western Rewards bonus points by participating in the promotion.
