YoVille's makeover explained

YoVille developers made big changes to the game. Yes, live deals had to leave but you now have a wider view of the game window. This means that you actually get more space to decorate. Once you sign in . a message welcomes you and you get a bonus of 2,000 YoVille coins to decorate all the extra space.

Pictures of the " New YoVille" as it's being called are after the link with some explanation. Expect more to come soon.

Here's a full view of the main screen. Click on the image for a bigger view.

The Icons:

Houses Icon : We were wrong about this one in our last update. This icon shows a list of your houses and allows you to navigate through them.

Globe Icon : Opens the YoVille map. The map has no changes. Remember this is a layout change so no VIP and no circus tent.

The Party Top Hat Icon : Will open the events menu. The menu is still the same.

The Chair Icon : Allows you to edit your room.

The Sunglasses Icon : Allows you to change your appearance.

The Lock:

You can lock your room and change the name of your current house by clicking on the house name above the decorating meter found at the top right corner,

Chat log and Buddy List:

To the low right of your screen, you will find two buttons. The first is for your buddy list that expands when you click on it.

The other one is for the chat panel. In this panel, you can insert you chat text, use smilies, do some moves, view you chat log and play the camera game.

Friends Ladder:

The friends ladder is still found at the end of your screen. To the right of the ladded you can find three buttons:

Message & Gifts: Shows your friend visits, message box and gifts

The Crate: Allows you to access you inventory.

Sound Control: Allows you to mute or turn on the YoVille music and sounds.

Clicking on the glasses, replaces your friends ladder with the edit room menu.

So what do you think? Do you like the makeover?
