FarmVille gifts now expire after two weeks (worst idea ever?)

If you're one of those players who let your gifts sitting dormant on your Facebook page for weeks before accepting them -- you might have to change your ways. Gifts now have a built-in time limit and after two weeks, you'll no longer be able to accept them.

If you ask us, gifting in FarmVile and other Facebook games need a complete overhaul. Bouncing from a Facebook page, to a game and then back again to receive gifts is -- at its best -- slow and cumbersome. We're not thrilled with the idea of our gifts expiring, but if this means that bigger gifting changes are on their way, guess we can deal with this in the meantime.
