Vince Vaughn Drops Asking Price for His Chicago Rental, Again

It may have no resemblance to the fraternity house in the slapstick comedy "Old School," but that hasn't kept actor and Chicago native Vince Vaughn from dropping the rental price on his River North town house.

Vaughn, 39, knocked the $7,800 a month price tag down to $6,900 on his three-bedroom home, reports the Chicago Tribune. About a year ago, the 4,063-square-foot place, which he paid $1.4 million for in 2005, went on the rental market for $9,500 a month.

Since then, Vaughn has reduced the asking rent several times even though according to several reports he's left the original furniture in the nine-room town home. Why wouldn't somebody want to brag to their friends that they are sleeping in Vaughn's bed?
