Seabourn Goes Around the World in 109 Days

A brand new cruise ship is set to sail around the world in 109 days.

The Yachts of Seabourn announced plans for an exotic, long-winded cruise that will depart from Fort Lauderdale and sail on "a unique eastbound course via South America, South Africa, the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean," according to a press release.

The tour of the globe will take place on the 450-passenger Quest, a ship currently being built that is scheduled to debut in mid-2011.

The ship's ambitious itinerary includes calls in Brazil, South Africa, Mozambique, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Egypt, and Jordan, among many other ports, according to USA Today. The tour will end in Venice.

The around the world voyage will launch on January 5th, 2012. Rates will be announced on March 23rd.
