GM Recalls 1.3 Million Vehicles

GM, one of the car companies with a chance to benefit from the woes of Japanese automaker Toyota, may have just lost its opportunity. The company announced a recall of 1.3 million compact cars in North America because of steering trouble that may have been to blame for more than a dozen accidents.
