Pet Society supports World Wildlife Fund with new tiger items

Pet Society continues to support the World Wildlife Fund by introducing new charity items into the game's Cash Store. In honor of the Year of the Tiger, there are now seven new tiger-themed items for sale. These items cost from 2 to 25 Playfish Cash and 10% of the proceeds go to the WWF. According to the Pet Society blog, there are 3,200 tigers left in the wild and are in danger of going extinct. Fans can also use their dollars to help Haiti, by purchasing a Haiti bear plushie for 10 Playfish Cash -- 100% of the proceeds go to Mercy Corps. For more information, visit this fundraising site.
