100 flowers for $20 through Friday

Get 100 blooms for $20 from ProFlowers when you click on the upper right corner of the site where it says "hear about us on radio or TV?" When the page comes up use coupon code ELLEN, which will bring you to a special deal page which has the following offers:

  • 100 blooms (25 stems) of Peruvian lilies for $20, including a glass vase.

  • The same flowers as above plus chocolates and a bear for $30.

  • 18 red roses in a glass vase for $30.

  • Many other flower packages and offers.

The promotion ends Friday, Feb. 5. Note, delivery is $5-$20 extra. When I last checked, delivery on Valentine's Day was $10, which is not bad.

I always like to check prices with a local florist. If you are out of town, Google "florist near "90036" or whatever zip code you want them sent to. Call two or three places to get a feel for local prices, which may be cheaper than online deals.
