Bejeweled Blitz down for maintenance, new update imminent

We've been waiting for the Bejeweled Blitz update -- complete with coins and boosts -- to arrive on Facebook, and it's our guess that the changes are coming soon, based on the fact that the game is down for maintenance.

For those who are desperate for a Bejeweled Blitz fix, Pop Cap is offering gem-swapping game Bejeweled 2 for PC and Mac for $10 (that's half off the regular price), for a limited time. In the meantime, we'll have to wait patiently for the new (and improved, IMHO) Blitz to return.
