Zynga creates Haiti Relief Fund for earthquake victims

Starting tonight, FarmVille, Mafia Wars and Zynga Poker players will be able to purchase limited edition in-game items and 100% of the proceeds will be used to support emergency aid to earthquake victims in Haiti.

In FarmVille, users will be able to buy white corn that will not wither for a week; in Mafia Wars, players can buy a Haitian drum and in Zynga Poker, players who buy a special chip package will receive a rare item.

Contributions to the Haiti Relief Fund will go to the World Food Programme's emergency response team set up to distribute food and other items to those in need. You can also donate directly to the WFP at Zynga.org.
