JPMorgan May Have Set Its Earnings Bar Too High

JP Morgan Chase (JPM) has posted banner results for its first three quarters of 2009. So the pressure is on to end the year on a rising note, when the bank kicks off the financial industry's earnings season on Friday, Jan. 15. However, the New York bank might have set too high a bar for itself. Several Wall Street analysts in recent weeks have dialed down their earnings expectations for JP Morgan.
