How we've spent our money over the last century

Our friends at VisualEconomics.com produced this chart from U.S. Department of Labor statistics showing how Americans changed the way they've spent their paychecks over the past 100 years. I was particularly taken by the relatively small increase in the percentage of our overall expenditures that go to health care.
