I was recently a guest on Fox Business, where I referred to 401(k) plans as a "national disgrace." Why? Because they are fraught with high fees, poor investment choices, conflicts of interest and kickbacks that are euphemistically described as "revenue sharing payments" from mutual funds that "pay to play."
