2009 Is the Year Of FarmVille on Facebook

Facebook has just released it 2009 status trends and surprisingly app related status updates came out number one. Apps in Facebook's language mean games, as games make up 15 of the top 20 applications.

With over 350 million people using Facebook updating their profiles constantly, it's amazing that FarmVille and farm related games came out on top as the number one most commonly uttered phases within Facebook members status updates.

With FarmVille still growing at a break neck pace and lost cows, sheep, penguins or whatever other animal FarmVille can trick us into clicking to see it is doubtful that FarmVille related updates will go away anytime soon.

2009 will be remembered as the year of FarmVille.
