The creators of FarmVille, Mafia Wars, Cafe World and other addictive Facebook games is notoriously shy when it comes to talking about its next big game. Yet thanks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office's database, Zynga fans can get a name behind what the company is boiling in its gaming factories.
On Nov. 21, 2009, Zynga filed for two trademarks that don't appear to be related to any of the company's already existing games. The first, Celebrity World, may be the first of its kind or merely be a reaction to games like Playdom's Sorority Life. The second, Casino Gold, may be the company's next logical step in evolving its first casino-esqe game, Zynga Poker, where the term is used to describe the cash used to purchase premium, in-game gifts.
Apart from knowing that the two trademarks may turn into game is all we currently know about them. Zynga probably won't say much else until something shows up on Facebook or a Zynga site.
