Mafia Wars Public Enemies event adds featured job

Mafia Wars players received a new Featured Job today as part of the Public Enemies Week on Mafia Wars, which promotes the DVD, Blu-ray and digital download versions of the film. Each job requires 60 Energy points but lets players gain 120 Experience. For loot, players also gain 10 Prison Stripes and a tidbit of history about the life and crimes of bank robber John Dillinger, whose life is portrayed in the movie by Johnny Depp.

So far, we've done two jobs: Step 1: Bust Out of the Joint and Step 2: Hold Up a Bank. Since the Job Mastery for each job goes up 15%, 100% mastery should include seven steps and take just under two days for sleep-deprived players.

Yet, we're still curious about what the special Prison Stripes loot will be used for and wonder if the upcoming Mafia Wars: Bangkok episode will soon shed light on their purpose once the featured job ends on December 13 at 11:59 PM PST.
