Megabus giving away 100,000 free seats
is offering 100,000 free seats for travel Jan. 6 to March 20, but you'd better be quick to grab one of the free tickets.
The free bookings begin today, and as I write this, it took me a few tries to get into the busy Megabus Web site.
A press release from Megabus says that the promo code GETAWAY will be needed to book the free seats, which are subject to availability.
Megabus is an intercity express bus that operates in the Northeast and Midwest. It also offers a limited number of $1 one-way tickets. Its double-decker buses include amenities such as free Wi-Fi, reclining seats, power outlets, on-board restrooms and more.
