Playfish Recruiting Gangsters (for Mafia Wars-style game?)

A day after Zynga releases PetVille, which is essentially a clone of Playfish game Pet Society, Playfish hits back with an early version of a game that looks a lot like Mafia Wars, judging from these banner ads:

The ads, which are posted on the Playfish forum, are recruiting people for a pre-beta testing period. You have to be a Facebook user in order to join the test team, and be willing to play an early version of the game and answer a bunch of survey questions. So if you've ever wanted to help determine game design, here's your chance. Though, I guess it's already too late to ask for a mafia that involves cartoonish pets rather than trophy wives from Queens.
