L.A. Couple Charged With Torturing Mortgage Agents

Daniel Weston and Mary Ann Parmalee, along with three others, were charged with two counts of torture, two counts of false imprisonment by violence and two counts of second-degree robbery, according to a criminal complaint filed against them.
The couple, who is facing foreclosure and both are in their 50s, had apparently sought mortgage modification help and felt that the two agents had scammed them.
