How to: Flu Proof Your Place

This Old House has put together a list of ways to keep your germ exposure to a minimum.
Here are some of our favorites (also probably the easiest, because, hey, we're lazy):
- Consider an air filter for your bedroom.
- Pay special attention to areas where germs may gather, like your desk, or objects you pick up or touch, like a doorknob or remote control.
- Don't be betrayed by your own cleaning materials. Sponges, mops, brooms and even the cleaning products you know and trust may either harbor germs or may be ineffective in fighting the buggers.
- Seems obvious, but don't forget to wash your hands, up to six times per day.
