Trump/Kushner Wedding Major Merger

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were a match made in real estate heaven. The couple were married on Saturday at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., according to their New York Times wedding announcement Sunday. Their union merged two major players in the real estate game. So, how much money do they have?
Despite recent financial troubles, Ivanka's daddy was ranked #158 on the 2009 Forbes 400 Richest Americans List and has key residential, commercial and hotel properties in New York and around the world in places like Dubai, Korea and Istanbul. Interesting, the family makes much of their money now through licensing agreements, in which they lend their name to luxury properties.

Jared's family are real estate moguls who manage commercial buildings and apartments in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Trump's financial troubles are small potatoes compared to the senior Kushner, who was sent to jail for two years for witness tampering, tax evasion and making illegal campaign contributions. That left son, Jared, as a principle in the Kushner Companies.

Ivanka and Jared are not your typical spoiled rich kids. They seem to have ambition to match their wealth.

At the age of 25, Jared bought himself a newspaper - The New York Observer - for $10 million. And Ivanka's certainly no slouch either. She's executive vice president for the Trump Organization, president of her own luxury jewelry line and co-host of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. Forbes recently named her a Billionaire Heiress to Watch and CNN named her one of 8 to Watch.

Both the Kushner empire is estimated to be worth $2 billion and Donald Trump's net worth is estimated at $2 billion so it looks like if they play their cards right, these kids will live the good life.
