Free entree at Applebee's for vets on Nov. 11

If you're making plans for Veterans Day, Nov. 11, and have a military vet in the group, you might want to consider Applebee's. The chain is offering a free entree that day to anyone providing proof that they served in one of the U.S. military services. To show eligibility, simply provide one of these:

* U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card
* U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card
* Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
* Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion and VFW)
* Photograph in uniform
* Wearing uniform

You will receive your choice of one of six signature entrees, including Fiesta Lime Chicken, a 7-oz. sirloin, and Oriental Chicken Salad and more.
