PopCap Working on Something New?

Rumors indicate that PopCap's Ireland-based studio may be working on a completely new mobile game IP that isn't based on any of the company's previously well-known hits: Bejeweled, Zuma, Peggle, Plants vs. Zombies, etc.

Based on a job posting on Develop, the company seeks an experienced game designer who would drive "unique IP development" that could add multiplayer and Facebook abilities to the game(s). Given that the U.S. audience for mobile games has only grown close to their EU peers with the aid of the Apple iPhone, we can understand why the position would be located in Ireland. Still, we're pondering several ideas that could be done... Plants vs. Riverdance? (yeah, we're kidding)

We did ask representatives from PopCap to reply to the rumor but they had not responded prior to posting this story.
