Teens 'Addicted' to FarmVille; We Are Too

There's an epidemic sweeping the teen population. No, it's not Swine Flu -- it's the Facebook game FarmVille! While doing our daily Web surfing, we ran across this great article from a community newspaper in California. In the column, entitled, 'Addicted to Farmville,' a 14-year-old girl talks to classmates about their addiction to the Facebook farming game.

"Farmville is a heavenly game that consumes my time. I'm saving up for a plantation, and my cotton should be ready tomorrow," says one student, who is a level 13 in the game.

"At first I was like, 'why would I want a Farmville?' but now I'm addicted!" says another student.

Yes, we're also obsessing about our levels and counting down the hours until we can harvest our next big batch of blueberries. In fact, I think we all need to join the FAA, FarmVille Addicts Anonymous, and talk about how far we've gone to score big in this game.
