Stocks to open mixed ahead of Federal Reserve rate decision

U.S. stocks are set for a flat and mixed open as investors awaited the Federal Reserve rate decision and policy statement due out at 2:15 p.m. Eastern. While the Fed is expected to keep rates the same, it may signal an exit strategy with the recession likely over.
