Stocks set for flat open ahead of retail, inflation data

U.S. stocks are set to open flat to mixed Tuesday morning, the one-year anniversary of the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy. Investors will focus on economic data set to be released ahead of the bell, including August retail sales and wholesale inflation. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is also due to speak this morning.
