Stocks are set for a higher open ahead of the nonfarm payroll report

U.S. stocks at this time are set to start the day higher. But at 8:30 a.m., the much anticipated government employment report is due out, which then could change the direction of the markets depending on the data. Many expect the trading session to have light volume ahead of the long weekend.
