An Israeli woman paid $32,000 for the entire business section of an El Al flight from Paris to Israel so her dog could be at her side for the four-hour flight, according to a UPI story.

Identified at Rivkah, 60, she told a TV network last week that she couldn't bear leaving her 8-year-old boxer dog in a cage in the cargo hold of the plane.

"I didn't think for a minute to leave Or, my little Orchuk, with the cargo," she said, according to the London Telegraph. "I've been raising him for eight years and four months in France. I also didn't mind having other passengers sit next to us."

"All that mattered to me was to have my baby with me during the flight so that I can take care of him."

A vet also accompanied her on the flight, and the airline had to remove several seats to make room for Or's cage. It's unclear if the dog remained in its cage during the flight, but if it did, couldn't she have saved some cash by just buying one seat instead of the entire business section?
